Everything you need to know about sideloading apps
Every smartphone user currently out there must have come across the term “sideload apps” or “Sideloading apps”. What it means in lay man’s term is the ability to install apps outside your authorised app store. Sideloading apps can be done on android, BB10, Windows, iphone etc.
Android is the most popular OS at the moment, so it is only natural to see variety of stores to install apps from. But before you can do so, you would need to tick the allow installation from unknown sources so your installation would be done just fine.
• Go to Settings 》Security 》Device adminstration》Unknown sources.
• Now tick the checkbox that says “allow installation of apps from unknown sources“.
• Now tick the checkbox that says “allow installation of apps from unknown sources“.
Blackberry 10 devices currently allow users to sideload android apps from various stores e.g Amazon etc. Since the OS has been built to run android apps, they run perfectly well on BB10 devices. Same thing goes for window devices.
Once your iPhone has been jailbroken, you would have the ability to sideload apps from various stores aside iTunes at your risk. Because once your device has been jailbroken, your device is security void.
That is everything you need to know about sideloading apps.
